چکیده
The purpose was to specify the lower extremity joint angles in different squats for future development of adequate computational models joints. Methods. We investigated joints 103 athletes types with and without added weight (barbell) 75% 1 repetition maximum. Results. mean knee hip flexion ankle dorsiflexion horizontal are respectively 113.42°, 128.21°, 23.27°; half-squats 70.60°, 87.94°, 15.60°; lunges 98.04°, 96.36°, 8.02°; Smith machine 94.42°, 106.28°, 4.46°. In a squat barbell, significantly larger (by 4.56 ° 3.11 °, respectively) than weight. less barbell 4.15° 4.37°, respectively). angle male is female 4.71°). Conclusions. established may be used further research. Horizontal produce greater angles.

Analysis of muscle activations in lower extremities muscles at various angles of ankle flexion using wedges during static squat exercise
[Purpose] This study aimed to investigate changes in activation of the rectus femoris, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior, and gastrocnemius muscles during one-legged squats performed at various angles of ankle flexion. With the use of wedges, the muscles were activated at different angles of ankle flexion angles to establish the appropriate posture necessary for muscle strengthening and rehabil...
متن کاملLower extremity muscle functions during full squats.
The purpose of this research was to determine the functions of the gluteus maximus, biceps femoris, semitendinosus, rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, soleus, gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior muscles about their associated joints during full (deep-knee) squats. Muscle function was determined from joint kinematics, inverse dynamics, electromyography, and muscle length changes. The subjects we...
متن کاملComparison of blood pressure measurements on the upper and lower extremities during spinal anesthesia
Introduction: During spinal anesthesia, measurement of blood pressure is often obtained by an indirect method using an inflatable cuff on the upper arm. The relationship between the blood pressure measurements at the two sites in patients undergoing spinal anesthesia is unclear. This study was designed to evaluate the difference observed in systolic blood pressure (SBP) taken from the upp...
متن کاملRehabilitation of persons with bilateral amputation of lower extremities.
The loss of both lower extremities through amputation represents one of the severest physical handicaps, particularly as it occurs most commonly in the older age group. During the last six and one-half years, from May, 1950, through December, 1956, over 500 persons with amputation of a lower extremity were admitted to the Bay State Medical Rehabilitation Clinic. Of these, 10% had bilateral ampu...
متن کاملComparison of Angles and the Corresponding Moments in Knee and Hip during Restricted and Unrestricted Squats
The aim of this study is the comparison of angles and the corresponding moments in knee and hip during squatting. The five subjects performed restricted and unrestricted squats. The experimental set-up consisted of a motion capture system and two force plates. The loading conditions were 0, 1⁄4 and 1⁄2 BW. The moments and the force were calculated using inverse dynamics. Overall, the maximal mo...
